We offer customized drive solutions from CAT Drives GmbH.
We specialize in working with you to develop customized drive solutions and strive to be close to the customer, taking your requirements into account down to the last detail. We work together with our customers in the prototyping, testing and industrialization phases of their projects. Finally, we strive to offer you an optimal, cost-effective, sustainable and reliable solution for your competition.
Motors and gearboxes
Our motors and gearboxes in our offer come from very different manufacturers and we work globally. It is important for us to work directly with the respective manufacturing and development teams. This has often enabled us to further develop the products for our customers and provide them with even better properties. We are guided by the benchmark and want to set the benchmark ourselves wherever possible.

Special tasks of us can be:
- Specify drives that provide the required speed, torque and position control
- OurFocus: Highest efficiency that meets your needs and budget
- In case of non-existing solutions, we modify existing products or develop the desired product from scratch
- Some applications require explosion-proof motors (ATEX), our knowledge leads to the right solution here
- Selection of products for highly hygienic environments such as food processing or pharmaceutical applications that require stainless steel motor or gear housings, including the required shaft.
We will provide you with a quote to meet your requirements. If characteristics are not specified, we give recommendations on the applications and the environments in which the motors, gear units and controls are operated.
As a service provider, we also handle procurement management, logistics and warehousing. Upon request, we also procure and assemble cables and control cables. With their expertise and flexibility, our service technicians are at work wherever they are needed. You are therefore never alone with problems relating to drive technology and repairs.
Our task
We are interested in all industrial sectors where the type and results of the drive solution used are not irrelevant. Where end customers and OEMs are interested in technical improvement and/or energy saving and also want to act. We still experience too often that especially in the OEM area the energy saving potentials are not used, because the own profit increase is judged as not big enough in a much too short term consideration period. Most of the time, this is a misjudgment.
We want to reduce your carbon footprint. We have children and grandchildren and we think about their future. We would like to make good for our posterity some of the things that were destroyed in the past. If you also think this is worthwhile, then let’s start this project.
